The Miss Oneness Beauty Pageant

The Miss Oneness Beauty Pageant was created to promote beauty, culture and tourism on the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua. The crowned Miss Oneness will have the opportunity to travel abroad to represent the Caribbean coast with pride and self confidence. She will have the opportunity to showcase her talent, intelligence and to promote the authentic culture of the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua. The young ladies wishing to apply for the Miss Oneness pageant must do so by December 15, 2006.Application being accepted now. Regions qualified to participate in the Miss Oneness Beauty Pageant 2007: RAAS & RAAN

The contestants must meet the following qualifications in order to participate in this prestigious pageant.

· Born on the Caribbean coast.

· Speaks, write and express herself clearly in English.

· Be between the ages of 18 and 25 .

· Has never been married nor given birth..

· Minimum height of 5’4.

· Good moral character.

· Never posed nude in any pictures, films, and publications.

· Has not engaged in prostitution or any form thereof.

· Has not been convicted of a crime.

Each Contestant will compete in three equal phases of preliminary competition: swimsuit, evening gown, and interview. The scores from the preliminary phases of competition are added up, and the contestants with the highest scores become semifinalists. Scoring is based on the following

CONTESTANTS WILL BE JUDGED ON

§ Personal Interview:preliminary interviews are personal one-on-one. You will have five minute interviews with each of the five judges. Its very comfortable and conversational. Contestants are scored on their communication skills, and personality. They are NOT scored on their opinions or personal beliefs.

§ Swimsuit: each contestant is evaluated on her physical fitness, stage-presence, and overall impression

§ Talent: each contestant is evaluated on her talent, singing, dancing, art etc.

§ Evening Wear :each contestant is evaluated on grace, poise, style, stage presence, the confidence with which she carries herself, and overall-impression

§ Onstage Interview:Each finalist will have an onstage interview with the MC on a topic not known to the contestant.

* Miss Oneness Beauty Pageant reserves the right to cancel, postpone or change the venue of the pageant for any reason necessary to do so. Contestants however, will be notified at least 30 days prior to the scheduled pageant if such decision must be made.
