ESMIE'S ANGELS was created to honor a remarkable 93 year old woman from Bluefields, Nicaragua - Miss Esmeralda Casanova Hodgson. "Auntie" as she was fondly referred to by many in her community, was a resilient, loving and always had a beauty within her that no trials nor tribulations that life offered wavered her spirit. She was an angel and touched the lives of so many in her community. This is our tribute to her, to continue in her footsteps and have her love flourish!

The aim of ESMIE’S ANGELS is to support and instill stronger humanitarian relations with the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua and the rest of the world. The ANGELS of the Miss ONENESS Beauty Pageant are indeed a gem who believes and has full confidence in its values, and most of all in its need to exude a feeling of philanthropy, self worth and to bring hope for a brighter and better tomorrow filled with love for ALL!
