KATHIEL LAMPSON / / MISS ONENESS 2007 Kathiel Lampson was born in Bluefields, Nicaragua on August 22, 1986 to Sandra and Carel Lampson. At a very young age Kathiel realized that she wanted to be a model and a dancer at heart. To realize her dreams she started entering the beauty contests that were available in Bluefields in the high schools and at a local level. Kathiel is also a member of the popular Ballet Universitario BICCU dance group.
In March of 2007 Kathiel was encouraged by her mentor Mr. Ricky Carlson to enter the very first staging of the Miss Oneness Beauty pageant in Pearl Lagoon. She did a fantastic job representing Bluefields and thereby being crowned Miss Oneness. She was excited to have won the very first staging of such a prestigious pageant. She then went on to represent the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua at the 2007 Miss Global International Beauty pageant in Kingston, Jamaica.
Kathiel Lampson was placed in the top five at the 2007 Miss Global International Beauty pageant and won second best national costume. Kathiel made history by becoming the very first young lady from the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua to make top five at an international beauty pageant. Kathiel is currently in her 4th year at the Bluefields Indian and Caribbean University where she is working toward a degree in Systems Engineering. In her spare time she tutors a child as part of her commitment to the Miss Oneness Beauty Giving Back to the community program.
